Finding Bigfoot meets The Dresden Files in this unique contemporary fantasy.

FBI agents Brian and Jenny work for a ring of evil, supernatural bigfoots embedded deep within the ranks of the Bureau. Having some sasquatch blood himself, Brian has magical abilities too, but they’re too weak to protect him and Jenny. The Sarge, their boss, calls them in to clean up the latest rogue bigfoot case: A ’squatch codenamed IRONFOOT has abducted a two-year-old girl near Salt Fork State Park in Ohio. Brian and Jenny’s mission? Protect the conspiracy and bury the story by whatever means necessary. Return the girl safely? Not important, says the Sarge.

That’s not going to fly. Saving the girl while satisfying the Sarge’s orders looks tricky, especially with Brian’s feeble abilities as a mage—until a bigfoot podcaster named Mitch appears on the scene. Mitch offers to train Brian in his magical powers so he can save the girl. If Brian and Jenny can nail this case, it may give them the evidence they need to expose the sasquatch conspiracy to the American public. Brian and Jenny set off across the wilderness of Salt Fork, tracking IRONFOOT and the kidnapped child. But even Mitch’s training won’t prepare them for the truth about the abduction—or what they find in the woods.

Meet the characters

Brian Delaney | FBI Agent

Brian got blackmailed into serving FBI sasquatches 10 years ago. Now he’s working with his wife Jenny to gather as much information as they can to disclose the sasquatch conspiracy to the American people. The case before them is dangerous, but it might give them the ammo they need to blow their disclosure wide open.

Deep State Bigfoot character Jenny Delaney

Jenny Delaney | FBI Agent

Like her husband, Jenny is also stuck toeing the line for FBI ‘squatches. She wants to get out and have a family, but she has other ambitions too. A lifelong conspiracy geek, she would love to publish the big book on the bigfoot conspiracy that runs the Bureau. But she has to stay alive while gathering information.

Deep State Bigfoot character - the Sarge

The Sarge | FBI Supervisor

The Sarge, Brian and Jenny’s boss, is bad news. He’s a hybrid, and he’s about to go feral—which means shapeshifting from a regular dude into a raging bigfoot. With his primal instincts taking over, he may just run this case into the ground, suppressing evidence and pursuing some kind of vendetta beyond Brian and Jenny’s understanding.

Deep State Bigfoot character Mitch

Mitch | Bigfoot Podcaster

Mitch is a total bro, not to mention an idiot. His bigfoot podcast is big news, and his approach to the case is way too casual. But he has a lot to offer Brian and Jenny too. He can teach them glamour, the strange magical abilities that come with their hybrid genetics. He can also provide much-needed support—if they trust him.
